Target Population: Staff & other people from NGOs, civil society, government and non-government organizations

Geographical location/area coverage: People from any geographical location of Bangladesh, South Asian & other countries who are interested.

Goal: Maximize capitalization of the current human, financial and material resources and starting process towards organizational sustainability for enhancing capacity and developing sustainable skills of professionals of NGOs, Civil Society and other Government & Non-government Organizations/Institutions.

Objectives:
• To facilitate the organization in capitalizing its resources for further improvement
• To start the process of learning based organization with technical soundness and enormous opportunity for replication and demonstration
• To establish an education center for technical assistance and dissemination of updated information as a pioneer organization in HIV and AIDS prevention surface.
• To strengthen the process & mobility resources for organizational sustainability

Major Strategy/Approach:
• Identify committed, dedicated and technical staff who will contribute for organizational development
• Capitalize the identified human resources to explore the integrated areas for future scopes which will supplement the organizational mandate
• Improvise and fine tune the current modules and guidelines on different aspects of HIV/AIDS & STD
• Assess areas through which new guidelines and modules can be developed with opportunities for meeting demand and possible replication and demonstration.
• Develop and review new modules, guidelines and manuals on different issues related to HIV/AIDS for specific target community
• Identify areas for possible endorsement for the developed and improvised modules, manuals and guidelines by the Government and later capitalize these endorsed modules and manuals for different target communities.
• Capitalize organizational resources to generate financial & social capital which in turn would explore the extents for organizational sustainability
• Create an environment for learning scope for all level staff of HASAB
• To strengthen existing manuals and materials and capitalize technical expertise
• To promote quality training and well equipped information centre in different sphere though advocacy.
• To develop a long term financial plan and platform regarding organizational sustainability and continued educational effort.

Activities:
• Reviewing existing modules, manuals and guidelines by internal & external resources prepare new or revised the manuals, modules, handouts and guidelines and endorsement manuals, modules and guidelines endorsed by the GOB
• Organize Launching ceremony for the endorsed manual, module or guideline
• Marketing the training manuals through using different channels like GOB, donor agencies and through communicating; leaflet, brochure etc
• Arrange/organize training courses according to the training policies and procedures
• Communication and information dissemination about the Information Resource Center with different stakeholders, alike minded NGOs, individuals and Institutions
• Prepare booklet, brochure and pamphlets on the IRC
• Explore different packages for utilizing the IRC; the rates would be different for different institutions and individuals; i.e. lower rates for partner NGOs, for students; logical rate for the stakeholders
• Encourage & create dialogue with NGO, GOB and supportive donor agencies for possible utilization of the IRC by the NGOs working in the HIV/AIDS & STD
